FAQ
Q: What is Vexorna.com about?
A: Vexorna is my personal blog dedicated to fashion, beauty, and style. Here I share a little bit of everything – from outfit inspiration and trend tips, to makeup reviews and hair tutorials, sprinkled with personal stories. The content is a mix of practical how-tos (like how to style a single piece in different ways), product recommendations (skincare I’m loving, etc.), and everyday life musings as they relate to style and confidence. It’s like chatting with a friend about what’s in your closet or makeup bag. My mission is to inspire you to have fun with fashion and feel great in your own skin, no matter your budget or experience level.
Q: Who is behind Vexorna?
A: Hi! It’s me, Anna Manina 👋. I’m the sole author and creator of Vexorna.com. I’m not a celebrity or a professional stylist – just a fashion-obsessed, makeup-loving woman who decided to start a blog to share her passions. If you want to know more about my background and why I started blogging, check out the “About the Author” page for the full scoop. In short, I’ve always loved playing dress-up and trying new beauty products, and now I get to do that and share it with all of you online!
Q: Why the name “Vexorna”? Does it mean something?
A: Great question! “Vexorna” is a unique name I came up with when brainstorming something catchy for the blog. To be honest, it doesn’t have a deep meaning in any language (as far as I know!). I liked that it sounded a bit edgy and memorable – kind of like a cool persona or alter-ego. For me, Vexorna represents a space of creativity and style exploration. It’s distinctive, just like personal style should be. Plus, it was a made-up word that wasn’t taken by anyone else, which is always a win when securing a domain name! So while Vexorna itself isn’t a dictionary word, I’m hoping to give it meaning through the content and community we build here.
Q: How often do you post new content?
A: I aim to update the blog regularly with fresh content. Typically, you can expect new posts about once a week. However, the schedule can vary a bit since this is a one-woman operation balancing content creation with life’s other responsibilities. Sometimes inspiration strikes and you might see a flurry of posts in a short time; other times I might be quietly researching or working on a bigger project behind the scenes. The best way to stay updated is to subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on social media – that way you won’t miss any new posts or announcements.
Q: How can I subscribe or get updates?
A: I’m so glad you want to stay in the loop! You have a couple of options:
-
Email Newsletter: You can subscribe to the Vexorna newsletter by entering your email address in the subscription box (check the sidebar or footer of the site, or a pop-up that might appear). I send out friendly updates whenever there’s a new post and occasionally a round-up of popular posts or special content. No spam, pinky promise – just fashion & beauty goodness.
-
Follow on Social Media: I share new posts and extra content on my social channels. You can find me on Pinterest (where I curate tons of style inspiration boards), Instagram (for outfit snaps, behind-the-scenes, and quick tips), and Twitter (for updates and chit-chat). My handle is usually
@vexorna
or some variation – links are on the site’s header/footer. Following me there is an easy way to catch new content or just say hi! -
RSS Feed: If you’re tech-savvy and use an RSS reader, you can subscribe to Vexorna’s feed as well to see new posts in your feed reader of choice.
Q: Do you accept guest posts or contributions from other writers?
A: Currently, no – Vexorna is a personal blog and I don’t feature guest posts or outside contributors. I want to maintain a consistent, personal voice and only share content that fits my vision and standards. I do occasionally collaborate with other bloggers or creators in other ways (for example, a group challenge or a Q&A exchange), but I don’t publish unsolicited articles or paid guest content on my site. If that ever changes, I’ll let everyone know. For now, all posts you see are 100% written by me (Anna). That said, I love supporting fellow content creators in the community – I’m open to other forms of collaboration. If you’re a blogger or influencer interested in working together, check out the Collaboration page for ideas or shoot me a message. 🤝
Q: Do you make money from this blog?
A: Yes, I do earn some money through Vexorna – it helps me keep the site running and allows me to dedicate time to creating content. The primary ways I monetize are Google Ads (AdSense) on the site, affiliate links in posts, and the occasional sponsored partnership with brands. For example, you might see banner ads on the sidebar or within posts (those are from Google’s ad network), and some product links in my posts might give me a commission if you purchase through them (at no extra cost to you). I’m also open about doing sponsored posts when the opportunity and fit is right. Importantly, monetization doesn’t change my commitment to honesty – I disclose all sponsored content or affiliate links (you’ll see notes in the posts), and I only work with brands or recommend products that I truly like. If you’re curious about the nitty-gritty of this, you can read my Affiliate Disclaimer and Disclosure Statement pages which explain everything in detail. And of course, thank you for supporting the blog – even just reading posts or sharing them with friends helps a ton!
Q: Are your product reviews or opinions influenced by sponsors or free products?
A: I do my very best to keep my content unbiased and genuine. If a post is sponsored or if I received a product for free, I will clearly disclose that fact (transparency is super important to me). Regardless of sponsorship, I always share my honest opinion. If I love something, you’ll know it; if something didn’t work for me, I’ll tell you that too (or I might choose not to feature it at all if it’s not worth discussing). My reviews often highlight both pros and cons because very few things are perfect. I also make it a rule not to accept sponsorships from brands I don’t personally resonate with. In short: money or freebies don’t buy my opinion. They just allow me to try more things and bring more content to the blog. If you ever have doubts about a recommendation, feel free to ask me directly. And remember, what works for me might not work for everyone, but I promise to give you my sincere take each time.
Q: Can I use your photos or content on my own website or social media?
A: I’m flattered that you want to share my content! I put a lot of love into my photos and articles, so I do have a few requests to protect my work:
-
Sharing on Social Media/Pinterest: Feel free to share my blog post links on social media or pin my images on Pinterest – that’s totally okay and encouraged! If you share an image, please make sure it links back to the original post on Vexorna so people can find the full content and I’m credited as the source. I often create Pinterest-friendly graphics for posts, and you’re welcome to pin those.
-
Using Images or Excerpts on Your Blog: You may use one image from a post and/or a short excerpt (a few lines) as long as you clearly credit Vexorna.com and link back to the original post. For example, if you’re doing a roundup of “Outfit Ideas,” you can include one of my outfit photos with a caption like “Photo via Vexorna.com” that hyperlinks to my blog. Please do not take images and remove watermarks (if any) or crop out credits.
-
Do Not Repost Full Articles: Please do not copy and paste full posts or substantial portions of my content onto your site. That includes translations to other languages. Duplicating content not only hurts both of our sites in search rankings (thanks, Google) but also it’s not cool to my creative rights. If you found a post super helpful and want to reference it, a better approach is to write your own summary or take, and then link to my post for readers to get the full details.
-
No Commercial Use: My content (images and text) is copyrighted, which means it’s intended for personal reading and inspiration, not commercial reuse. If you’re a brand or business and want to use my content in some way, please contact me to discuss permissions or collaboration opportunities.
If in doubt, just ask! I’m usually happy to grant permission for uses that are respectful and mutually beneficial. You can reach me at anna@vexorna.com for any content usage inquiries.
Q: How can I contact you?
A: I’d love to hear from you! For general questions, feedback, or just to say hello, you can email me at anna@vexorna.com. I check my email regularly and try my best to respond in a timely manner. You can also reach out via the Contact page on this site – there’s a form that sends your message straight to my inbox. If you’re on social media, feel free to send me a DM (Instagram and Twitter are good bets), although for more in-depth inquiries email is usually better. Whether you have a question about a product I mentioned, want to collaborate, or have a suggestion for a future post, I’m all ears. Just bear with me if I take a day or two to get back – sometimes life gets busy, but I will reply! 😊
Q: I’m a brand representative or fellow blogger – are you open to collaborations?
A: Yes! I am definitely open to collaborating in various ways, as long as the partnership is a good fit. If you’re a brand: I’m interested in opportunities like sponsored posts, product reviews, styling challenges, giveaways for my readers, or social media takeovers – provided your brand aligns with the fashion/beauty/lifestyle interests of my audience. If you’re a content creator or blogger: I’d love to explore ideas like co-writing a piece, doing a themed post on the same day, shout-outs, or any creative cross-over that our readers would enjoy. Please check out my “Collaboration” page for more details on how we can work together, and feel free to reach out to discuss your idea. I do get quite a few collaboration requests, and I’m selective to ensure everything I engage in brings value to my readers and feels true to my style. But don’t be shy – shoot your shot, and we’ll see if we can make some magic together!
